Ours Extra Virgin Olive Oils
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Valli Trapanesi (Protected Designation of Origin) is produced under the conditions provided for the defined territory of the province of Trapani belonging to the following municipalities: Alcamo, Buseto Palizzolo, Calatafimi, Castellammare del Golfo, Custonaci, Erice, Gibellina, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo, Marsala, Petrosino, Poggioreale, Salemi, San Vito Lo Capo, Trapani, Valderice, Vita. Is obtained from varieties Cerasuola and Nocellara del Belice for no less than 80%; although other varieties can be found in the groves no more than 20%. The olive harvest is taken on the seminvaiatura and must not extend beyond December 30 of each olive-growing campaign. The harvesting of olives for the production of extra virgin olive oil with denomination of origin "Valli Trapanesi" can be mechanically or by stripping. The extraction of oil and packaging must take place within defined territorial area, and the olives must be pressed within two days after collection.
